First there were websites and you could make millions of dollars by setting up simple websites as business. Then came blogs, YouTube and then it kept on getting bigger.
The opportunities on the Internet kept surprising us. Blockchain and Bitcoin were the big thing and everyone started investing and then it all collapsed. There were no new opportunity in cryptocurrency. And now the wave is of Artificial Intelligence.
Every month, there comes a new breakthrough in the AI space. First it could write poems, code and guide you. Now it can create images and video on your prompt. This is the first step, the quality of the output keeps on increasing. And after a certain threshold, the quality will be of top artist. And then it will be a question of who can give the best prompt. For example, if you can give a good prompt like Inception then you won’t have to worry about hiring actors, cinematography, songs, video editing, direction – all of this will be done by AI and it will give multiple versions of the prompt.
Suddenly you can create a high budget movies with comparatively less costs and you don’t need to deal with multiple people. The AI will take care of everything. And who knows there will be special screenings for AI stuff much bigger than the traditional cinema.
When everyone can become a filmmaker then everyone will. Self publishing books enabled millions to have their own book. It doesn’t matter if they sell and become successful. It creates a new direction and a percentage of them will become successful.
And then there will be the next big thing. It keeps on changing. There will be something new which comes along and AI will take a backseat.
Here is a golden rule – if everyone is talking about it then you are late to the party.
But regardless, being on the edge helps you a lot of that next big thing becomes the norm. Because then you will be ahead of everyone else who joins late. So keep track of next big thing, play with it and if it helps incorporate it. And maybe you will be r responsible for the next big thing in the Internet.
